Dr. Grant Kernick has always had a passion for helping others. Initially, it started with personal training and exercise and later became Chiropractic.

He enjoys treating injuries and ailments of all kinds, ranging from a stiff neck and back to a sprained ankle or hamstring strain.

Dr. Kernick has an extensive background in strength and conditioning and athletic therapy from the University of Waterloo, where he helped train and treat the athletes of the football, volleyball, basketball and hockey teams.

He has always been an athlete himself and has a passion for treating via exercise and movement. Grant understands the stressors the students can feel during school and wants to do all he can to get staff and students feeling at their best!

Chiropractic Adjustments

Spinal manipulation – also known as chiropractic adjustments, to increase mobility and decrease pain in the back and neck

Soft Tissue Therapy - Release tension and trigger points in muscles through the active release of the tissues

Exercise-led rehabilitation – specific exercise protocols to rehab injuries and build strength to prevent further flare-ups

Blood Flow Restriction Training—a technique that combines low-intensity training with partial blood flow occlusion that has the ability to produce similar results to high-intensity training. It can be very effective for injury recovery, and performance enhancement for athletes.

Yagdutt graduated from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree (2005-2010) and started practicing in Delhi, India. He has a keen interest in treating chronic pain, sports injuries, injury prevention, and performance enhancement. Based on his passion for sports, he pursued a Master of Physiotherapy in Sports Rehabilitation (2011-2013) from Indian Spinal Injuries Centre (GGSIPU), Delhi. Yagdutt believes in evidence-based rehabilitation and has completed his Master in Clinical Science in Manipulative Therapy from Western University in 2020 and became an FCAMPT therapist. Yagdutt has done Fellowship in Spinal rehabilitation in 2013 and has received additional training in McKenzie therapy, Functional Dry Needling, Integrative Acupuncture from York University, SFMA, soft tissue release, and Taping. Yagdutt is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA) and has worked with athletes to return to sports rehabilitation. Yagdutt is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi. His main focus is on empowering people to lead an independent and active lifestyle. When not working, he likes to go for a run, Practice Karate, travel to explore nature and work with various sports teams as a physiotherapist.
